I always start out by saying how bad I am at writing on this thing, but that I love hearing about everyone else's life.
Life in St. Louis hasn't been as exciting as I thought it might be, but I have been having fun, so  I can't complain too much.
My friends from School came up today for the Journey and Def leopard concert and we all went and it was amazing and it was really nice to see all of them and to hear about what they have been up to this summer. I can and Can't wait to go back to school, Don't want to do the work but I do want to see all of my friends and move out of my house.  living with your parents is always interesting after you go away to college. Well I will try to update more. Hope you guys are having a good summer.

Alright, I am really Bad at this, and now it has been a month since I wrote on this thing so here's an update on my life.

I'm still at school, but only for one more day then I can get the hell out of Fulton, and go back to civilization even if it's K-Wood. I took this post term class because I had to drop Spanish two last semester, so I could still have all of the hours that I would have had if I had kept Spanish two. I haven't been online that much because I', living at my grandparents house because it's free rather than living in the dorms at school, at least just for post term, I think I might shoot myself if I lived here all year round, not that I don't love my grandparents, because I do but I hate having to tell anyone what I'm doing or going to do, but the free food kinda makes up for that. So the class that I have been taking was a Spanish civilization class which was totally awesome, I liked it, and I loved learning about the history of Spain, since I have been there, but we didn't really get the gist of the history beforehand we just went. But now since I have taken this class I want to go back to Spain.

I also have this insane urge to start my job even though I know once I do I will be working everyday all day long, and since I'm going to be a lifeguard this year, I know that I will be in a constant state of sunburn, or maybe I will get tan. I hope so but it is entirely unlikely for me the white's person ever to get tan. So I'm going to be home tomorrow and then I guess I will start work next week sometime, but I'm so excited to make some money that it doesn't matter. And I', also excited that I will be home for most of the summer so I can catch up with all of my friends and what they have been doing at their perspective colleges, it should be interesting.

Well that's all for now I guess I will see you all soon

Okay Today I realized that it is incredibly great to read all of my friends Xanga's but I never write on mine cus I'm a lazy bum and don't ever do it. So here goes.

My life is boring, very mundane and I can't wait to go back to Kirkwood and have something interesting happen to me again like seeing all of my high school friends and finding out what has happened to them these past months since we graduated and went to school.

I made some incredible friends this year and am going to miss them over the summer but after living with the same eight people for seven months it's getting pretty old, and I want to get out of here.

Sorority life is amazing, I love having this huge group of girls who I can always come to and talk to no matter what, about anything.  like I just finished doing my big Job for the semester for my Office, which is senior week, and I loved seeing how the seniors were really appreciative of all that I tried to do for them this last week. it even made me officer of the week, Kinda exciting.

Today I found out that I only have one final but three papers for finals week next week which is awesome, but Chemistry is really boring right now and it's hard to concentrate and buckle down and study, for the two test I have tomorrow and the Final I have on Monday.

Last weekend was Alumni weekend where all sorts of old fogies and young graduates  come back to school and bother us about what we are doing here. it's nice to meet the alumni, but some of the younger ones especially the guys are kinda creepy cus they hit on you right after they finish telling you about their wife and kids. Weird, but I can always walk away.

Well  I can't wait to see everyone and hear your story for the year. Toodles.

Don't ask, I already know that I'm weird.

Okay so last night I went to my Kappa Formal with this guy that I hardly knew and had so much fun. Hi name is Tommy, and he's probley one of the funniest people I have met in a really long time. So I guess we will see if something comes from this or not , it could be really great of well I guess there really is no downside to this. Oh well. LIFE IS GOOD.

Facebook and Privacy

Okay so the administratiuon is begining to monitor facebook and my space at my school and so that the whole school would know what is going on they sent out this email:

Students,

Attached is a link to an article in yesterday’s USA today about Facebook, MySpace, and similar web sites.  As these sites grow in popularity, it’s important to know that what you post on-line is not private.  Students at other schools have reported losing employment opportunities, being denied grad school admission, getting in trouble with law enforcement, and even being stalked by people who found their information on-line.

Here’s some advice:

  • NEVER post your address or room number
  • Don’t post your phone number – let your “friends” ask you for it
  • Don’t post pictures or text that incriminates or may embarrass you
  • Don’t post pictures or text that may embarrass other students
  • Never post anything threatening or greatly offensive to others

We haven’t had any problems with Facebook at Westminster, and it’s a great way to learn about fellow students.  Westminster does not actively monitor the site, and won’t get involved unless a threat or some other serious policy violation is involved.  I just want to make sure you’re all being safe and smart!!

Here’s the article:

http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/internetprivacy/2006-03-08-facebook-myspace_x.htm?POE=click-refer

I'm not sure if the web site is connected or not but if you are at all concerned with this i think you should read this, because aparently people have been denied jobs or a spot in the college of theis choice by what ehy said on any of these sites. And i know it's probley a violation of the first amendment but i wanted to warn my friends about this so that you can be reminded that what you say is public and weather you ment it or not the other person will never Know.  Love you all.
